Hands on mission training.

The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is designed to help you understand God more deeply, live more like Jesus and identify your unique gifts and purpose to use in missions. DTS is an intensive course which begins with a residential part followed by followed by an 8-12 week outreach. DTS emphasises cross-cultural exposure and global awareness, preparing students to answer the call to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19.

There is also the Multi-Generational DTS which caters for all ages including families with children, or the Crossroads Discipleship Training School that focuses on the needs and concerns of trainees over age 30, such as second-career people. The Discipleship Training School is a requirement for applying as YWAM staff, and serves as a prerequisite to all other training programmes. The DTS happens at  YWAM locations all over England. Some schools have a special focus on particular areas of ministry or nations.

Important note from YWAM England regarding the operating location formally known as Youth With a Mission Radiant London.

If you are searching for information about a YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) or other YWAM training, please note that the team previously known as Youth With A Mission(YWAM) Radiant London is no longer a YWAM ministry.  They are not running Discipleship Training Schools or other training recognised by YWAM or the University of the Nations.  They may well run a course that is similar to a DTS (via Hope & Anchor Church), but it will not qualify the trainee to go on to other YWAM courses or to join YWAM staff anywhere in the world. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this information, please contact
